Skyler and I celebrated our two year anniversary this weekend. Friday night he surprised me with a night in Laguna Beach. We went to a nice Italian restaurant called Ristorante Rumari. Skyler had me dress up nice for our night out. It kinda felt like we were on a date because I was dressed up and on my best behavior in a nice restaurant. After that, we drove to our hotel The Inn By The Sea. It was a really nice hotel that had a great oceanview from the window. My favorite part was waking up in the morning and taking a walk along the beach while eating our free continental breakfast. (Which turns out to be the first of two free breakfasts we received that day!) Skyler did a great job at planning. I had no idea we were doing anything for our anniversary!
Saturday morning we had to pick up our race packet for our triathlon on Sunday. So we drove to the race spot, which was in Crystal Cove, and picked up our stuff. After that, we decided to get breakfast. We ended up at Coco's. Bad choice when you're hungry, good choice for free food. After waiting 45 minutes for our food, we were told that the cook lost our order. Then the manager told us that our meal would be free. Not bad! Interesting note: While waiting for our food, our friend Kristina (who also did the triathlon with us) told us that Audrina from The Hills went to El Dorado High School with her. I also went to El Dorado, but I had graduated before Audrina began there. I guess it was not so unusual to see her at the Brea Mall after all.
We raced in the Pacific Coast Triathlon yesterday (our actual anniversary). More to come on that when I have pictures....

Congrats on two years. Being married is the best. Sleepovers every nite!
How weird that we both spent our childhood summers in no-where WY. Don't you just love it there? Where did you grama live?
