I am loving this weather, although I would prefer for it to be cold all of the time instead of cold, hot, cold, hot, hot, hot, hot, cold. I was wonderfully surprised to wake up to rain today. Usually that's a bad sign for a Monday morning, but I was all smiles.
Friday night Skyler was out with the boys and Bethany so I got a whole night to myself, which I spent at the gym. I made it to the gym 5 days last week!
Yesterday two good things happened. First, it was cold enough where we got to turn the heater on. It has been so long since that has happened that Skyler had to re-light the pilot. Second good thing, Kenny and Jill returned from their "vacation" in LA. For the past two weeks my friend Jill has been doing a school class for work. I am not sure how to explain it, but pretty much she has been attending a class and writing a million papers for the past two weeks. From my understanding, if she does well in this class, she gets a promotion. She is super smart, but this class occupied 97% of her time over the past two weeks. As of 5:00pm yesterday she finished her last paper and I was finally able to see her again. It was a wonderful reunion which consisted of pesto pizza and snickerdoodle biscuits.
I know I write a lot of good stuff about Skyler, but I want to add one more thing for today. Yesterday I realized I was very close to running out of gas. I knew that I would have to fill-up before work today. Last night Skyler stayed up late to do work. When he came to bed, he woke me up and told me that I wouldn't have to get gas because he just did it! That gave me an extra 10 minutes of sleep! I love him!
