My brother Eric only has three months left on his mission. His will be released from his mission on July 7th and will be home on July 15th. I absolutely can't wait! We usually get his weekly email on Monday mornings because he sends it at about 1am PST. Yesterday there was no email waiting in the morning. Around 9am I had my gmail open (I love google!) and I saw that he was online with his gmail account. I have never seen him on, probably because he writes his emails when we are all asleep. I typed a quick "hi," but didn't expect to get a response from him. Surprisingly he responded and we chatted back and forth for about an hour. It was so awesome!

My brother is such an example to me! He is a faithful, stalwart young man. It was so much fun to be able to banter with him yesterday like old times. It brought back a flood of memories. One of my favorite memories is when we were in Maui for the first time. The beach that was near our condo was empty because the waves were so tiny. Eric and I had decided to hang out by ourselves for the day. We would jump into the small waves and then let the waves roll us back in, parallel to the shore. My swimsuit was so saggy because of all of the sand that was trapped in it. I didn't care because of how much fun we were having.

Side note: Enjoyable weekend. We were able to relax and not do too much. We did do a quick bike ride down to the beach and back. This was my first ride of the year with Skyler. There was a strong headwind but it made the ride back very easy.
