The True Meaning of Christmas For Me
Someone recently asked me what I got for Christmas. I had to think about it for a minute, and realized that, yes, I got a few neat things, but those things weren't important. I got to see family that I only see once a year, I got to sing Christmas songs with friends on Christmas Eve Eve, I got to make homemade pizzas with my brother who is home from his mission, I got to spend over 30 hours in a car with my husband driving to Mammoth and Utah, I got to see my nieces faces as they received the puppy they really, really wanted for Christmas, I got to sit in a hot tub and listen to my husband talk about when he first started snowboarding, I got to play Moonlight Sonata on the piano for my dad, I got to eat cupcakes with my family on Christmas Day, I got to bike to Black Star on the boys bike ride, I got to decorate a real Christmas tree in our home, I got to eat Fish-n-Chips with two of the best people in the world, I got to play skeeball with friends at Chuck E. Cheese, I got to snowboard with my brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, and nieces, I got to play Rock Bank with my aunt, uncle, and cousins on New Year's Eve...
