We are flying into Venice and flying out of Rome. How will we get from Venice to Rome? Bike, of course. We will be renting bikes to cycle across the country. Where will we stay? In a tent. Crazy, I know, but what an adventure it will be.
To top it off, we will be in Rome on the day that the Giro d'Italia, the second largest cycling race in the world (behind the Tour de France), will be ending. That will be so exciting to see the end of a 21 stage race.
We will be going in May and will be gone for 17 days! Can't wait!

Yeah! Sounds like fun! But you will be missed on the family vacation.
ELise I guessed it too you know!! jk. But I thought that was what it was since your Gmail stat said "Italy here we come!" That sounds like tons of fun! But yes I was very sad it won't be a full family vacation.
Oh Rob!...I figured you had an idea too, but Bek hit it right on the nose. If we could take two vacations, we would, but work is just so lame that we can't afford it.
Oh Luckys!!! That sounds like sooo much fun!!
I have an EXCEPTIONAL recommendation for a place to stay in Venezia. Locanda Arco Antico. Just amazing and affordable (at least when I was there). www.arcoanticovenice.com
You are going to LOVE your time there. I think everyone needs to see Venice sometime in their life. Just in case you were considering it - don't bother to stop in Milan. It's not worth it unless you are a huge designer shopper.
FUN! I'm jealous...
all i have to say is that I am incredibly jealous and hate you a little bit ;) im sure the pics will be amazing!
How exciting! I'm jealous. :)
DUDES!!!!!! I can't wait for you to do this. Please take lots of pictures, eat lots of pizza, and post it all on your blog.
That sounds like a lot of fun. We are also going to Italy in May maybe we'll run into each other! We will spend a week in Rome before taking a Mediterranean cruise (not quite as adventurous as you guys).
that sounds incredible elsa!!!
