It's a tradition in Skyler's family to spend Father's Day at Lake Mead. Love it! The weather was near perfect (95-100 degrees), the water was near perfect (78 degrees), but the wind decided to join us. We still had a blast hanging out with Skyler's dad and Deby and Skyler's brother's family (who lives in Idaho)!

We managed to find a cove that would allow us to do some wake surfing. It was good practice for, what will be, a great wake surfing season.

The boys played a few rounds of bocce ball. Dads against sons. As a Father's Day gift to them, the sons lost to the dads (or at least that was their excuse).

We usually find a mix-CD with the most random songs that someone else has left in the boat's CD player. I tried to get a SYTYCD contest going, but only Skyler participated. Did not have permission to post the picture.
We really enjoyed hanging out with Jeff and Lisa's family. We wish they didn't live so far away. I can't wait until we can head back to the lake to do some serious playing!

We ended up at Mojave instead of Mead this year, and boy was it sad. The water was SO cold, we could barely go in it just to pee! :P I wondered all weekend how it was for you in Mead. Sounds like it was amazing. Why was it so much colder for us? Sheesh!
I've been out of town, so I'm catching up on blogs, but I was so excited to see you on Just Spotted! You're famous :) Seriously, that's really cool.
Ohh ohh!!! Take me!
