My mom was pretty good about getting us kids to eat healthy (I mean, besides all the sweets!). My mom packed us a lunch every day and she made us dinner every night. So it only seems normal that I wanted something I couldn't have...TV dinners. I read a blog called Once Upon A Win, which talks about "nostalgic" items (pre-2000). Today's item was Kid Cuisine. I can't imagine stomaching that now, but as a kid, I wanted to eat these SO BAD. I mean, doesn't that look tasty...stuffed crust pizza, corn, and pudding.

Nothing better than a home cooked meal!

That's funny. When I was a kid I remember wanting to try them to. My mom never gave in. We are lucky we have good moms maybe that's why we are still skinny.

Too funny! We only got those when my parents went to the temple. It was a BIG treat :)

TV dinners were a big treat for me too! Yes, Swanson turkey dinners with mashed potatoes and chocolate pudding. Only got them when my parents went out.
