Are We Ready?

Monday I had my weekly doctor's appointment and I got a quick peek at baby boy. My midwife wanted to check that his head is in position (it is) and I got to see his cute little face on the sonogram. Then she started kneading my belly. Not pleasant. But that's because I was having a contraction and didn't know it. I guess I've been having them for a while and didn't know that's what it was. Go figure.

So now I'm more determined to get everything in place at home. Baby's room is almost done. Just need to get the curtains up. I bought some swaddling blankets and learned how to properly swaddle. Pumpkin was super interested. Actually I think she just wanted that bear. She's been eyeing that bear since we bought it several months ago.

Yesterday Skyler's co-workers threw him a baby shower. That was so sweet of them! He came home with some fun baby stuff, including a Christmas outfit that I can't wait for him (the baby, not Skyler) to wear.

Just 23 days until my due date. Any guesses whether he will come early or late?
