Skyler's friend Ryan came with us to Lake Mead this past weekend. Ryan is an awesome photographer. He got some great shots of us wake surfing. Hopefully I will get some of those from him soon. But for now, here is one of the "couples shots."
Skyler has been busy practicing for the house party that he and his friends will be playing at on Friday, August 31. It will be near the Orange Circle on the first night of the Orange Street Fair. They rocked the party last year so I am sure it will be even better this year. Since Skyler has been busy every night this week doing that, I have been getting great training time in at the gym. That's about the only good thing about not seeing Skyler at night...at least I have a good alternative! Of course that also leaves me plenty of time to catch up on cleaning at home, which I do not like, but at least it is getting done.
For the first time in two weeks, Skyler and I slept in our bed last night. Our apartment is an oven! Because of this horrible heat we have been having, our apartment does not cool down at night. Our dinky little A/C unit only "cools" down the front room. So we have been forced to sleep on our lovely couch. The good thing is that it fits both of us, since it is an L-shaped couch. Anyways, much to the relief of our necks and backs, we were able to sleep on our very comfortable mattress last night. I hope this cooling trend continues!

sweet, welcome to the blogging family! Our apts been really hot and we finally slept well last night since it's cooled down too! Long live winter!
We're so glad you're on the blog band wagon! It'll be fun to see more of these professional mead pics, too. the best shots we've gotten were from someone riding on a seadoo next to us wakeboarding. and, well...you know how those kind turn out. usually they're shots of mostly just the top of someones head and then really pretty scenery. (not very good)
