This past weekend was unbearable! We tried to stay out of our apartment for as long as possible. We hung out in grocery stores, malls, other people's houses, etc. Monday was an extra special day because it was the hottest day of the year. It was a record-breaking 108 in Fullerton. (I wish I weighed 108!) Luckily we managed to get into Wild Rivers for only $8 each. We went with our friends Dave and Tanya and 5 of their friends. It is a way different experience going there as an adult (I guess I consider myself an adult now), as opposed to going as a teenager. Everyone seemed to be complaining about how much the slides hurt. Don't get me wrong...everyone had a fun time, but almost everyone would come off a slide and tell how it hurt their back or head. My favorite was the toilet bowl slide, probably because I was a little nervous to go on. (I guess being an adult makes me a wuss.) After that, we went to El Torito Grill where I discovered that you can get free tortillas with your meal! Who knew? (Probably everyone but me.)
Last night we started our Office Party! We bought Season Three of The Office and started watching it with our friends Kenny and Jill. It is my favorite show ever. Last week I was in my Spin Class and the song "I Didn't Start the Fire" came on and all I could think of was the episode where Dwight sings, "Ryan Started the Fire!" Hopefully we will be continuing our Office watching party throughout the next week.
