Both of us completed the Pacific Coast Triathlon on September 9, 2007. I was unsure if Skyler was going to be able to race because he had been feeling sick the entire week before. The race was a fun one, but not easy. The water temp had dipped down the night before to a chilling 58 degrees. Our friend Kristina did not have a wetsuit and she said she felt hypothermic during the swim. I was cold enough as it was WITH a wetsuit...she was crazy. But she actually did the best out of the three of us. She is a lifeguard for the city of Seal Beach. She has always been a great swimmer and runner and her biking is not too bad either. If she puts enough training time in, she can become a top triathlete. Anyways, the race went well for all of us. We especially enjoyed the free food after. Trader Joe's and Mother's cookies sponsered the food, so it was delicious.
After the race Skyler and I drove over to the Newport Beach temple, the place where we were married exactly two years ago. We took a few pictures to commemorate the event. Skyler and I have had a fun two years together. (The years before we were married were not too bad either.)
