I love birthdays
Yesterday was my sister's 10th birthday. We went over to my parents house for dinner. In my family, when it is your birthday you get to choose dinner and dessert for everyone. Holly chose tamales, which were very tasty, and chocolate chip cheesecake. Holly is at a weird age because she is too old for toys and is not really a kid anymore, so it is hard to know what to get her. We didn't get her anything yet, but I am helping out at her other birthday party tomorrow (bowling!) and I will have her gift by then. Skyler was an hour late to dinner last night because he has been working longer hours lately. Flu season is just around the corner and I know Skyler will be catching it soon, especially with all the stress from work.

Man, she is 10? I can't believe Brent is 13. Sometimes it seems like he should be older, but most of the time I still of him as a little kid! I was thinking about you today when I realized the Office is on tonight- yay!
That is SO crazy. Ten years ago. I can't believe everyone's married and having baby after baby. It's driving me nuts how life just goes on! Before you know it, we'll both be grandma's, telling our grandchildren how we met. Shoot, our grandkids might even date. Haha. No sweat on Knotts, we're actually thinking of going not next wednesday, but the wednesday after. Would that work for you guys? Instead of 29 each it'd be 31.
