Saturday was a major Christmas shopping day. We started out by hitting the RVCA sale, where we got to cut in line due to some friend connections. (Thanks Hud!) Then we hit H&M at Crystal Court. The mall was packed but it was still fun to shop around.
Saturday night I went to another meeting with Elder Bednar (another awesome!). It was late when the meeting ended, but Skyler and I bundled up and took a bike ride around town. It was so cold, but it was a lot of fun. We rode over to this street in Fullerton that hangs these Christmas light balls from the trees in front of everyone's houses. It is beautiful. We attempted to get some pictures, but the colors of the lights were constantly changing, so Skyler couldn't quite capture what he wanted to.
Sunday morning we, once again, got the opportunity to hear Elder Bednar speak to us. Being in the presence of an apostle is so amazing! Elder Bednar is definitely the apostle for the youth and young adults. He is younger and seems to relate really well to the younger people. He is so direct and blunt.
Oh, I forgot to mention...Saturday morning we were laying in bed when we heard a horrible screeching noise. I figured it was either the baby downstairs or it was a noisy car. Didn't put too much thought into it until Kenny and Jill came over and Kenny was sitting in our kitchen and said, "umm guys, you caught a mouse." I guess we heard the sound of a mouse dying. The mouse is gone and I slept great last night!
There are a few pictures from my brother. He is the middle in the back. The second picture is of a monastery that they visited on their P-Day in Bulgaria.
