I brought my camera and upload cord to work today so I could finally upload pictures from my camera. Skyler was hogging the computer yesterday because he was working from home. Anyways, this is me at Jessett's baby shower a few weeks ago. Jessett just got the cutest haircut. I love it!
Here is our kitchen as of a few weeks ago. We visited on Saturday and everything is pretty much done. We will be signing final papers and surrendering our life savings on Thursday. Our move-in date got moved up to Dec. 27. That gives us an extra day to prepare for the big move.
Two Saturdays ago we hit the sales and South Coast Plaza. It was a zoo already. I will not be going to the mall for anything before Christmas Day.
Saturday we went to the Block to see Juno. Everyone loved the movie. I thought it was ok. I guess I like more of the large-grossing, blockbuster hit movies. I am fairly mainstream when it comes to movies. Anyways, while they finished eating their hot dogs, Skyler suggested a bull-riding contest between himself and Kenny. Probably not something you want to do immediately after eating a hot dog. Sad to say, the hot dog must have affected my husband because his longest ride was 3 seconds while Kenny's was 6 seconds.

It still hasn't hit home for me that you're buying your first home! I mean the idea has always been in my head..but it's always just been an idea, because the place wasn't finished, etc etc. But it's actually finished and you're moving in in like 2 weeks! That is the most exciting thing ever. We can't wait to have a home of our own! Neal has to remind me to stop wishing our time away. I want it to be a year from now, I feel like that's when things will start picking up for us. I have to appreciate what we have now :) In the mean time, I'll live through you guys. Are you gonna have a housewarming party? You must!
