So I have a dilemma of figuring out what I like more. During the winter I love the cold and wish that it would be colder in Orange County (hmm....not likely) and during the summer I love to bask in the sun. Winter consists of snowboarding in Mammoth, where summer is wakesurfing and tanning at Lake Mead (wow, an analogy). I have been craving Mammoth trips lately, but today I saw pictures of a friend's trip to Hawaii and now I am dreaming of a tropical life in Costa Rica. I think that would ultimately be my choice.

This is totally unrelated to your blog entry (but thank you for your frequent updates), but I came across this today and I thought you would love it. So check it out.

Ok so I thought that I would give you my thinking on this topic of hot and cold. I share your state of confusion about which one is better so I think that it is perfectly acceptable to love them the same as you will your children. Now the only problem that we will run into is when the cold and the hot run into eachother because this will create wind. I love and accept all forms of weather for the most part but one thing that I do hate and will probably never learn to love, unless I become a sailor, is the wind.
Now one thing that I would like you to do is to try and convert my wife to the cold weather. She, as you did, hates cold weather.
Much love,
Mikey
