Successful Weekend

Weekends aren't supposed to be successful...they should be filled with fun and not doing anything. Well, we got a little of both this weekend. Our biggest accomplishment: we cleaned our garage! Skyler had been cutting brick in our garage over the past two months, which left a coat of brick dust on everything. So we had to take everything out and hand-wash it. It was a good thing because we hadn't finished organizing from the move. Six hours later, we had both cars parked in there (finally)!

The fun part of our weekend consisted of trying two restaurants in the Orange Circle that we hadn't been to before. One for breakfast (The Filling Station) and one for dinner (Gabbi's). We also drove down to the beach and took our beach cruisers for a ride along the boardwalk. The weather was perfect. It makes me crave Lake Mead.

12 days until our first triathlon of the year! This is a picture from last year's St. George race, my first official race where I didn't have a flat tire. Can't wait to destroy last year's time.
