Week with Friends

Lucky for us! This week the Alleman family was visiting and we won the privilege of spending some time with them. Tuesday night the girls (me, Jessett, Kylie, Britain) went to an Angels game. We had a blast! It was fun getting to spend time with my favorite little girls.
Saturday night we frequented our favorite restaurant...Stone Fire Grill. We discovered Stone Fire with Mike and Jessett almost two years ago. The first time we went with them we decided to try the tri tip and from then on we were hooked. It has yet to disappoint us (except for the one time when they were out!). I could go on and on about Stone Fire, but it is something you have to try to believe!

We all hung out at our house after and watched "The Office" again. Thank goodness TV is returning back to normal! The Office, like Stone Fire, also never disappoints.

I am barely surviving tax season. Actually, when I compare myself to my dad I am doing just fine. Thankfully there are only two days left and those days usually end up being pretty mellow because everyone who is going to file a return is usually already finished, and then we put the rest on extension. Skyler and I did pretty well with our taxes because we got some huge tax credits for owning an earth-friendly home. I love our house so much! We really gained more appreciation for our house this weekend when it got up to almost 100 degrees outside. Our apartment was usually 10 degrees hotter than outside (which would mean 110 degrees inside....I am not exaggerating at all!). We have had our a/c running all weekend. And it will barely cost us anything! Our electric bill last month was less than one dollar! Whoo-hooo!

Wow, that's awesome about the a/c being so cheap! Where do Jessett and Mike live now? Well Diego says hi and that he can't wait to see you guys!

Oh, how I wish we had a/c! Our apartment is stifling, thank goodness it cooled down a bit today!

"won the privilege of spending some time with them" If I had a dime for every time we have heard that, I would have 10 cents in my pocket right now!! With three women in my life that dime isn't going very far. I need more friends that think like you.

We had a great time, and I love your place!!
