Just Because
Meet Kill (Kenny and Jill--it's their celeb nickname). It doesn't take much to realize how good of friends you are with someone. When we asked Kenny and Jill to come over to help us grout our brick wall, there was no hesitation. That's friendship! All four of us knew from the second that we saw each other in church that we would be friends. We are so blessed to have Kenny and Jill as our friends. We have had so much fun with them! I remember being slightly nervous before our first trip to Mammoth because what if they turned out to be super annoying on trips and then we were stuck with them all weekend? Not likely! We had a blast!

From Mammoth to yoga to LOST/Office parties to quilt making to Lake Mead to H&M trips to dinner parties to church to crashing the other's family gatherings to late-night Red Bull/Vitamin Water nights to Wild Rivers, we discovered that we have some pretty awesome friends!

I went straight to your blog for a much needed break from my day of financial statements/forgotten meetings/ripped skirts (can we say hello to my rear end...oh well)and what i surprise to find an ode to ...me. Thanks!
So everyone can learn the flip side of this love story, our last childless friends had announced they were pregnant one week (much to our sadness) and the very next week we met "Skylise." Talk about a Godsend. Looking at all these pictures reminds me of all the fun we've had in such a short time of friendship...it feels much longer than the two years we've known you! Thank YOU for being so fun, spontaneous, sweet, supportive, and just...neat (my word of the day). We look forward to many more memories in the making!

Regarding the grouting project... it should be known by all that we aren't that nice. There was KFC cheese curds and Elises' homemade cupcake-pops involved.
PS - of the many pictures you have of me in a swimsuit, thanks for posting the one where I have the life jacket covering my thighs...(you're a good friend.) :0)
They may be fun, but they'll never be Chocolate cake at Jack-in-the-Box fun like us...right?
That was magical wasn't it? it was for us. :)
