Uncle and Nephew Meet! Last night I arranged for two of my most favorite boys to meet! Skyler wasn't able to meet Diego on Monday when I did, but last night they were able to bond. I haven't seen two more handsome guys!
Last night I gathered some of Skyler's friends for dinner and a Rock Band party. The rocking didn't start until after Diego (and my sisters Robin and Holly) was safely on his way home. I wouldn't want to damage his little ears.
Rock Band seems to be the new craze now. I even dared to call it "the new Magio." Skyler scolded me for thinking such a thing. We played it for the first time a few weeks ago and got hooked. Skyler is very versatile and can play all of the instruments (and sing, of course). I, on the other hand, can't play the drums. I don't have very good hand-eye coordination, so you can imagine how my hand-eye-foot coordination is. I am sticking to the guitar and bass for now.
The night was awesome! Luckily our neighbors were not home, so the party continued until 2:00am. We could barely keep our eyes open today...we are not used to this lifestyle anymore. Getting older sure does pay a toll on our bodies.
This might have to become a regular activity for us. Everyone had a great time and Skyler is now one year older!

We had so much fun, our hands and ears are sore but it was worth it. We could barely move today, we too are getting old!

We had such a great time with you guys. Thanks for inviting us old people too. We totally felt it yesterday. Britain opened up her big eyes at 6am. OMG!!!!! I was sooo tired...
We drove home and crashed.
I totally suck at the drums! It's way hard and I feel like an idiot because I know I look weird when I do it! Your apartment looks really cute! I can't wait to get a place of my own!

Dinner was amazing!!! Rock Band was a great time, but I suck at best. Thanks for the good time, wish we could do it more often.
