First Stop - Barbados

Our first stop in the Southern Caribbean was Barbados. We took a taxi out to a beautiful beach full of tourists. Since we (the tourists) were everywhere, the locals were there to rent our their watercraft. I was going to scream if I heard the question, "You wanna Jet Ski" one more time!

We had a blast snorkeling and playing in the water. The best part of the week was my parent's waterproof camera. We didn't have to worry about getting a camera wet while taking pictures in the water. Daniel, Skyler, Cameron, and Eric had fun doing back-flips off each other.

Here is my dad touching a turtle. Scary story: my dad and Skyler were snorkeling and they noticed a large fish out of the corner of their eyes. The problem was that it wasn't a fish, it was a six-foot reef shark. Supposedly they are friendly, but my dad and Skyler didn't care. They booked it back to the beach as soon as they could. We decided not to tell Holly about it so she wouldn't be spooked. Unfortunately, they didn't have the time to take a picture of the shark....I wonder why!

My dad and Holly. Hooray for underwater cameras!

After we got back from the beach I hurried back onto the ship to make it to the Sudoku Challenge. I love Sudoku and always carry around a book in my purse. The previous weekend I was doing extremely well, so I decided that I would try the Sudoku Challenge on the ship. Surprisingly I won! I got a gold medal, a sweet hat, and a nice keychain. Admit it, you are jealous!
