Birthday Mom!

Today is my mother's birthday! As I grow older, I realize how much I look like my mom. Recently, I have been transferring pictures from an old deteriorating photo album to a new one. I'm starting with the oldest album, so it contains pictures of me as a baby. When I see pictures of my mom at the age when I was little, it surprises me because she looked so similar to how I look now. If I continue in the same direction as her, then I have a good future to look forward to!

Happy Birthday Mom! You are wonderful! Thanks for taking me out to lunch. Thanks for the milk bourdeaux treats for holidays. Thanks for the "I love you" emails. Thank you for being home when I got home from school every day. Thank you for driving me to seminary every morning. Thank you for letting my cat outside in the middle of the night. Thank you for a home-cooked meal almost every night. Thank you for teaching me right from wrong. I love you! You deserve to be celebrated every day!

(P.S. Sorry about the pictures. I don't have much to choose from on my computer at work.)

Happy Bday Mom! And thanks for the info on the movie theatre this weekend Elise. Daniel thinks I am lost in my own hometown. I have to kindly explain to him that the 57 and 91 fwry are not my forte. Give me the 55 and we're in business because that's really the only fwry we drove growing up. Anyways, maybe now that im right by the 57 and 91 I'll get it sooN!

Steve wants to know if we can come with you to Italy.

We are riding in the SLC Marathon bike tour in April, so I for sure think we will be in good enough shape to cycle across the country of Italy.

Seriously though, I have never seen Steve green with envy until we read your post tonight.

I know Skyler thinks you'd never be able to do stuff like this with kids, but to that I say, you can do whatever you want to do. I mean how cool would the kids whose parents hauled them across Italy in a bike trailer be. Answer, the awesomest kids on the block that's how cool they'd be.

And you do look just like your mom.
