I'm on my way to being domestic

I did it! I set a goal to make dinner every night this week (besides the weekend) and I did it! Sad to say, but it was the first time ever. Skyler has such an unpredictable schedule, so I never know if he will be home on time or if he will be eating dinner at work, etc. Work has been a little more stable lately, so I decided to give it a try. Here's the menu:

Monday: Angel hair pasta with meat sauce (I made the meat sauce myself)

Tuesday: Portabello mushroom and swiss hamburger patties in a wheat pita, topped with havarti and cheddar cheese

Wednesday: Red coconut chicken curry with jasmine rice

Thursday: Pork tenderloin with potatoes and carrots. Complemented with a cucumber, pepper, tomato, and feta salad (thanks Jill).

Wow. Those sound very good! I've noticed when I make a menu before the week starts that my meals turn out better. Otherwise I end up throwing together the same old thing. I have the best cookbook if you ever want some recipes too- Rachel Ray's 30 min. meals. Delicious and once you keep the things she uses as staples in your house, they're pretty easy. You're making me hungry thinking about it! PS HOw did your curry turn out? I am always looking for good curry recipes!

Awesome, I love home cooked meals! And those you made sounded great, especially after a hard days work. I bet Skyler loved it.

Awesome. You should have invited me over, sounds delicious. Now all we need to do is sew! I've been going crazy on the machine lately but need a friend to sew with!
