Lola and Us

April 22, 2010 is the day that Lola entered our lives. She came a day early, which caught me by surprise. Unfortunately, we were not able to see her on her day of arrival because we had plans with Skyler's brother and wife and go to an Angels game. As much as I would have rather seen Lola, I knew she would be around for awhile.




The next day we were finally able to meet her! She was as cute as expected and looks just like Kenny (and I'm sure Jill too, but I'm horrible at seeing that kind of stuff).




We could barely go a few days without wanting to see her again (well, it was probably more of me wanting to see her, Skyler is likely indifferent or at least he isn't planning our schedule around seeing her...yet). She was even more beautiful than I remembered. She slept in my arms almost the whole time we stayed.

Skyler got tired waiting for me to get tired of holding Lola. She didn't want to be far from him. Aren't they cute?
