The countdown continues. Today marks the end of my 36th week. Only one more week until I'm full-term. Scary! Again, I'm not in a hurry for this baby to come. He's perfectly safe inside my belly, so he can stay as long as he wants.
Everyone asks how I'm feeling. I don't feel tired, more just lazy. I have lots of stuff to do at home (like cleaning), but I'd just rather not. I bought a Groupon for house cleaning. I just despise cleaning the annoying stuff like baseboards, mopping, and dusting. Having a clean house will be so wonderful.
I'm not completely nauseous, but I've lost my appetite completely. Probably mostly due to my itty bitty stomach. I can't believe there's any room for anything inside my body anymore.
It's hard to believe that I could get any bigger, but from last week to this week my clothes are fitting snugger. If he's gaining a pound a week, I'm just going to continue growing.
Although it sounds like I'm complaining about everything, I'm really just recording observations for the next time I'm pregnant. I'm sure I'll forget what it's like to be pregnant, so I'd like to be prepared.
Skyler, Pumpkin, and I like to spend Sunday afternoons at the beach. We used to go to the Huntington Dog Beach, but recently switched to the Newport Dog Beach since it's closer. It's a smaller beach, but it doesn't have waves making it easier for Pumpkin to practice her swimming. Her deathly wheel of claws is beginning to be tamed.
Last weekend Skyler and I attended Oktoberfest at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim. It's a sausage-lover's paradise. My non-existent appetite made for a boring meal for me. After we ate, we walked over to the horse stables next door. Growing up, I always wanted a horse. It was fun to see them up close. Skyler owned a horse when he was little, but I have no experience around them at all. I think Pumpkin looks like a horse because of her long face. I think that would make a great Halloween costume for her next year.
Sorry my blogging is so boring lately. I can't help thinking, dreaming, and talking about my baby. 2012 will be a fun year as we drag our little guy with us everywhere we go. You may even see me breastfeeding in the transition area of a triathlon. I'm very anxious to get back to training again.
