I don't think I'll ever forget the Memorial Day Skyler and I spent in Italy. Three years ago a wrong turn brought us to the
Florence American Memorial Cemetary for World War II. It was the first time I really pondered what Memorial Day is really about. It felt so peaceful there, a feeling made possible by the veterans of our country. Thank you, Veterans!

I did not know you had seen that on your trip 3 years ago. I am so grateful for our men and women who lost their lives in the service of our country.
