Today I was getting pretty bored filing my month's worth of paperwork and I started thinking about what I would rather be doing as my career if I could start all over again. I have actually thought about this more than once...pretty much every time I get bored at work. I decided that I would be an animal trainer. I have always had a love for animals, especially cats. And of course this would be my career in a perfect world because most of the reason I picked accounting is because I knew it was something that I could eventually do from home after I had kids.
Anyways, I think that I would love to be around animals all day. When Skyler and I went to Sea World last year for our anniversary, my favorite show there was the dog and cat show. I could totally be one of those trainers. And since I can't ever own a cat (Skyler is allergic), it would make me a happier person to be around animals (mainly cats) all day. It sure would make it easier to get up every morning.

Change jobs, why not? You could also volunteer at rescue shelters around the OC to get your fix. We sometimes go visit the sad kittys and dogs at one of our shelters to give them love....and don't give up hope, a lot of people overcome animal allergies within weeks of owning one.
