The End of 2007

We have seen the last of our apartment. Yeah! For the past four days we have been transitioning into our new house. Friday night we got our keys. We ate our first meal in our house (Del Taco because that was our first meal in our apartment) and then we started moving stuff to our house.

Saturday morning Skyler was in charge of the big move. I had a conflicting event that I had to help at...my sister's baby shower. My sister lives in Utah so she was only in CA for a few days so we had limited days to plan her shower. The only day that really worked was the same day that we had been planning our move. It worked out OK and her shower turned out great (thanks to Emmajane!). Saturday night was our first night in our new house. It was great!

Sunday was our last day in our ward in Fullerton. It was sad because we were just starting to warm up to everyone (only took two years!), but I am sure our new ward will be just as great. We spent the remainder of our Sunday cleaning our apartment. Wow, it was dirty. It gave us inspiration to keep our new house cleaner.

Monday we slept in and walked over to Watson's in the Circle for a late breakfast. It was a beautiful day! That night we went to a New Year's party at the most amazing house I have ever seen. It was at the house of Pierre Andre Senizergues, owner of Sole Tech (etnies, es, emerica, etc). This was one of his many OC residences, actually his party house. It was in Newport, right on the harbor. There were actually two houses on the property. I can't even start to explain how amazing these houses were. Probably worth $15 million easily. Anyways, the party was great and we had a lot of fun.

Life is great right now. Skyler and I had a fun weekend planning out how our house will look and buying new furniture. We will be having a housewarming party in the next month or two.

Congrats you two! Is it the same place you were hoping to get when we saw you this summer? Either way I am glad you have progressed from your teenie tiny apartment.
By the way we are having a girl...another one. No repainting to do, yeah.

PS I want to see more pics too.
