This past week was super busy for us, more for Skyler than me. Skyler's agency has been working on a new company pitch for a camera company for the past several months. Last week Skyler worked late every night of the week and all of the weekend. Saturday night he didn't get to bed until 7 in the morning. Fortunately, it all ends today and his week should calm down. I am so thankful that I have such a hard-working husband.
For me, tax season is in full swing. The first week in March usually signals that. So my glimmer of hope for the next 6 weeks is a few trips to Mammoth.
Last Thursday I saw some dark smoke in the sky while at my office in Orange. I ran outside and found a building on fire. I took some pictures in honor of Mike Alleman. I thought it was pretty cool looking because there were two ladders put all the way up and firemen on the ends with those heavy water hoses. The building was pretty badly burnt.

Last weekend I began the process of painting our downstairs office. The project was put on hold when I ran out of paint. Saturday I finished the job and it looks great. You can really see why I needed three coats. Thank you to my helpers Cameron and Holly!

Saturday night was the surprise party I planned for my mom. I won't tell you how old she is, but she looks a lot younger than she really is. I don't have any great pictures of her from the party, but she was definitely surprised.

what a great color! green is my favorite. it turned out awesome.
The paint looks great! Can't wait to see it with all the furniture.
I was totally hoping that you were only going to paint the bottom half and do the top half blue with some clouds. That would have been spectacular. Everyday would be a picnic if you ate lunch down there.
Hey guys! Your house looks awesome!
Great, now I have to paint my house green. You guys are just so hard to keep up with! JK. Thanks for being such a great sport about the brite-tights. I prolly should have asked you before I stole the pic off your blog. You're beautiful, and you get my vote for sure.
Fun color. I bet that's exciting to get to pick your own house colors! Diego is wearing green today too-- Happy St. Patrick's Day. If you're not wearing green today, just hang out in your green room and you'll be safe!
