Two New Things

I haven't really blogged about food (unless you count my cupcake blog), but today I tried something new. I went to Subway for lunch and got a bag of chips with my sandwich. I rarely do this because chips are pretty unhealthy for you, but I saw this brand of chips called Flat Earth. I have seen their commercial before, the one with the pig that leads the lady to a bag of chips and then flies away. They advertise that their "crisps" contain 1/2 serving of vegetables in each ounce and are baked instead of fried. So I tried them and they were pretty good. I guess if I am forced to buy chips again I will have to get these again.
This past weekend Skyler and I went to California Adventure for the sole purpose of going on Toy Story Mania. The last time we were at California Adventure was the day it opened. That day, the line was 2-1/2 hours. No thanks! We had some time to kill this weekend so we figured we would try to get on it even if the line was long. To our pleasant surprise the line was only 50 minutes. The ride is similar to Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters at Disneyland, but on this ride you wear 3-D glasses and play six different games. I loved the ride! Our final scores were within 500 points of each other, which is close considering we had about 105,000 points. Can't wait to go back and try it again!

Midway Mania is a pretty fun ride. I might have to try those chips. Thanks for loving my bike. I got this nifty rack that goes on my trunk and holds up to 3 bikes. So call up Jill and the three us can load up our bikes and go for a spin!

Elise, no worries. When you become a mom you can nap again. In fact, in order to survive you must nap when you can. Today is the 4th of July, my favorite holiday, and I napped. Well Diego is eagerly anticipating meeting you. In fact, he has stopped sleeping through the night because he's so excited. (ok, maybe that's not why, but he has stopped his full night sleeps...so sad for mom!) See you soon!
