Even though Skyler and I go mountain biking a lot, we have only gone together twice. Friday afternoon I took off work early and we rode Black Star Canyon. I didn't know what to expect except that Skyler said we would be working hard. Well, it was a one hour 45 minute climb, with a beautiful sunset view at the top. It only took us 30 minutes to ride down. He was right, it was hard but I really enjoyed it! There is just something special about enjoying nature with the one you love!
This weekend was the Orange Street Fair. I
mentioned before how much I love fair food. The fair didn't disappoint me! Of course I had my favorite loukamathes (fried doughnut holes with honey, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar) and a surprise...
cupcakes!
Today Skyler and I were discussing three-day weekends. He decided that even though the weekend is only 50% longer, we get more than 50% more fun. I agree! I vote for four day work weeks!
