It started as a love of funnel cakes and nachos, but has grown into a full-blown obsession! I love fair food! Our new hometown, the city of Orange, knows how to put on a fair. Although I had a great time stuffing my face at the OC Fair last month, there is no need to waste space on carnival rides and exhibits. The Orange International Street Fair has only two things--food and beer. That's all you need (well, besides the beer part)! This year we live less than 1/2 mile from the action, so there is no need to find a parking spot (which is hard to do when 50,000 other people are trying to find a spot).
Here is what I am looking forward to the most: lucamades, danish doughnuts, funnel cakes, irish nachos, buffalo wings, and a giant chocolate chip cookie. Of course I won't be eating all of these, courtesy of the race diet, but I will try to sample a few of them.
It's interesting because last year at this time we were waiting to see if we would be getting our townhome. The night of the Street Fair last year, I took my friends Wendy and Neal by the models to show them the place that we dreamed of living. One year later, we are doing our thing in our new home! I love it!

I am going to a fair this weekend and have been thinking about the food all week! Thanks for helping me not feel alone.
