Tagged

As much as I dislike these things, I was verbally tagged by Jill last night. And since she came over to watch The Office and The Office wasn't on, I feel that I owe her one! (By the way, what makes the networks think that showing the season premiere of a show one week and then not broadcasting a show the following week is ok?! It is not! Don't let it happen again, NBC and ABC. You are already on thin ice with me from the lame writer's strike of last season!)

10 Years Ago, I was...
  • Just starting my senior year of high school
  • Dating my first boyfriend, who was actually a freshman at a neighboring high school.
  • Going to church dances every weekend
  • Debating on BYU or CSUF. It wasn't much of a debate...Utah or California? Easy!
  • Boy Crazy! I can't believe how many crushes I had.
5 Things to do today...
  • Wish my little sister a Happy 11th Birthday! (I love you Holly!)
  • Drive my new WRX really fast (Skyler let me drive it to work today! Yippee!)
  • Work...it's pretty slow today. Everyone is waiting until the last minute to get their taxes filed. They are due Oct. 15.
  • Pick up my mountain bike from the shop. It just had its first tune-up. Skyler and I have a big ride planned for this weekend.
5 Snacks...
  • Craisins
  • Pink Lady apples
  • Surprisingly I don't snack that much. I just eat my lunch throughout the day. My problem is sweets. My sweet tooth starts acting up after dinner.
5 Places I've Lived...
  • Ontario, CA - I don't like admitting I lived in the 909 at one time, but for the sake of being able to list close to 5 places this one must be admitted.
  • Yorba Linda, CA - I lived here for almost 20 years of my life. It will always be the place I refer to as "home."
  • Fullerton, CA - Skyler and I moved here after we got married. We lived in a small 500 square-foot apartment. It was majorly cramped with bikes, snowboards, guitars, and furniture. It was our first place so I will never forget it.
  • Orange, CA - We love our house! I can't express this enough. We love the area and we love owning our very own place.
More importantly, where would I like to live...
  • New York - I would love to see what it's like living in a big city. Taking the subway, living in a loft, finding great hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I am sure Skyler's job will take us somewhere like this.
  • Mammoth Lakes - At the same time, I am curious about living in a small town. Skyler lived in Mammoth after his mission. It seems like the simple life might be somewhat fun to live for a while. On the other hand, I might go a little stir crazy.
  • Europe - I have not idea what Europe is like but after Skyler posted an April Fools joke about moving to Paris, we realized how much of a great idea that was. Neither one of us has been to Europe, so I can't pinpont an exact location. But I am sure anywhere would be great.
  • Last but not least, Costa Rica. I love this place! I dream about it all the time. Life is perfect there. I am really hoping this is the place we will retire to. We already have our plot of land picked out. We are planning on taking another trip back here at the beginning of next year.  Can't wait!
5 Jobs I've had...
  • Chuck E. Cheese - I hated this job. I was in charge of stamping the kids hands when they came in the door. That place is madness!
  • Juice Stop - I loved this job. I got a free smoothie every day that I worked. I tried every flavor and made my own. I wish I got free smoothies every day now.
  • Superior Service - My first accounting job. It was working for my boyfriend's family and loved the people I worked with. I hated leaving, but it was an important step in cutting ties with my boyfriend after breaking up from 3 years of dating.
  • My dad - I currently work for my dad as an accountant. I do taxes and other accounting activities.
  • My father-in-law - Boy do I have the best bosses! I also work as an accountant for my father-in-law's manufcturing company. It is in Chino (which sucks big time), but I enjoy it.
5 Things I'd do if I was a multimillionaire...
  • Buy nicer triathlon gear and race in destination races.
  • Buy a vacation home in Mammoth and Costa Rica (wait, I think that would take up all my money. How many millions are we talking about?)
