Don't Rob Me

When I first got engaged I worried about wearing my wedding ring while running. What if someone robbed me and took my ring? Six years later I realize that is a ridiculous thing to worry about.

The other day Skyler and I were looking at the website for the breeder that Pumpkin came from. If you remember, we adopted Pumpkin through the Southern California Vizsla Rescue. We chose this route because we wanted to adopt a dog that needed a good home. Also, there was no way we could afford a purebred dog. (Not that having a purebred mattered.)

Anyways, the breeders website is advertising their new litter of trained puppies. Guess how much they are selling each puppy for? $7,000! Can you believe that?

So now, instead of worrying about someone stealing my wedding ring, I'm more worried about someone stealing my dog. Don't worry Skyler, I love my ring almost as much as our dog.
