Our last full day in New York started off cooler than it had been all week...thank goodness. We headed over to Rockefeller Center so I could try the iconic Magnolia Bakery. I was really surprised at how not-good the cupcakes were. (Check out my full review here.)
I needed a real sweets fix so I bought a ton of candy at the NBC store.
Plant wall. I think they called it a living wall. It was cooler in person.
We rented bikes and headed for a ride through Central Park. It started raining. Didn't matter. We had a great time.
Lunch at Shake Shack. I kept hearing about this burger joint, rumors that it was better than In-N-Out. Close, but not quite. It was really good though. And YES, those are french fries. You might remember that Skyler is not eating any fried foods this year and I'm not eating french fries. Well, when you're in New York for the first time, eating the best foods ever, sometimes you have to listen to your doctor who says to eat whatever you want. That's the upside of being pregnant. And the fries were great. After not eating any for 6 months, I'm pretty sure even the worst french fries would have tasted like heaven.
Stopped by for a quick photo in front of the Manhattan LDS temple.
Got bad service at Tiffany's. Browsed at strollers at FAO Swartz. Saw John Meyer. Ate awesome Italian pizza in Greenwich Village. Helped a boy find his way on the subway. Tried to get frozen hot chocolate at midnight, but failed with an hour-long wait.

I love New York. A bike ride through central park sounds awesome. I've never sent much time there.
French fried. Hmmm a gift I would say. To people who need something so salty, that you need a soda to go with it:) And those look like Del Taco French fries which happen to be my very favorite fries. I don't eat them much, but when I do, I ENJOY. So glad you did too.
