He is here!...a little early (3 1/2 weeks early), but we don't mind. Yesterday my sister Robin gave birth to Diego Salas Adlong (Salas is our maiden name). He is 6 lbs 2 oz and 18" long. He was born at 1:11pm (MST) on February 27, 2008. I am so proud of my sister. Diego has a head of dark hair that will hopefully stay. The kids in my family all have light-colored hair, despite the fact that we are 1/4 Mexican. Maybe Diego will break the chain.
My mom flew to Utah yesterday morning, but just barely missed the birth. At least she was there right after. I thought that was pretty awesome that she was able to jump a plane so quick and get there. Daniel's parents arrived in Utah about an hour after my mom. My mom is finally a grandmother!
Something struck me hard the other day. I am 26. My mom had me when she was 23. I have memories of my mom before she was 30 and here I am sneaking up on 30 myself. It's weird to think I am in a similar place that I remember my mom being in.

so, i went on the twilight website like a week ago, and saw the picture of the cast they have so far...but they haven't casted a couple of main characters that show up in the last two books. i have all 3, if you're interested.
