I hate paint!

This weekend I devoted to painting our office downstairs. Skyler was gone the whole weekend so I dedicated myself to finishing while he was gone. We got a gallon of paint and primer from Skyler's mom who works for Behr Paint. Turns out we didn't need the primer and it caused a bigger problem. Well, not a problem, just more time invested in the project. My sister Holly spent the night on Friday night and she helped me start the project. We painted the primer by ourselves and then my brother Cameron came over to help with the actual painting. We finished the first coat of color and it looked horrible. Since the primer was a bright white and the paint was a bright/dark green, the primer showed through quite well making it look like some kids broke into our house and spray painted the walls. So Sunday I began painting the second coat by myself. Fortunately, it is looking a lot better, but it is still going to need a third coat. Argh! So I had to order more paint and it looks like I will be devoting another weekend to painting!
