Happy Graduation Cameron!

Last night Cameron became the 4th Salas kid to graduate from El Dorado High School. Cameron is probably the smartest of all of us (sorry Robin, Eric, and Holly). Cameron is going places. For now, he's going to BYU. I will miss having him around. At least he will still be here for the summer. Congratulations Cameron! We love you and are so proud of you!

I didn't put two and two together until last night, but exactly 10 years ago from last night I also walked across Bradford Stadium in a cap and gown. I am stunned that it has been 10 whole years since that day. It doesn't seem that long ago! 10 years ago I will still a kid. I thought I knew what I wanted, but I am sure glad that life didn't go exactly as planned. I want to say that I planned on getting married at 24, but the truth is that I was so boy-crazy that I expected to be married and have kids within a few years of graduating. Thank goodness that didn't happen. 30 is creeping up on me and still no kids in sight. Just enjoying my alone time with Skyler.

Speaking of kids, little Diego received a nice shiner from a playground bully. Just kidding. Who would do this to such a cute baby? Another kid accidentally pushed him and Diego kissed pavement. I'm glad I wasn't there when it happened because Diego has a good set of lungs. I'm not sure how it's possible that he gets cuter every day, even with a scratched-up face.

I can't believe it's been 10 years either! Time is flying. Don't even dare suggest we are getting close to 30- I am in denial :)

Boy do I know what you mean. It was 11 years ago for me. I left for BYU and thought I would be married by college graduation. Well it took me till 26. But I am so glad. I love my alone time with Tristan and if I was not going to be 30 next year you would bet we would not be having a kiddo yet. Just after 2 years of marriage we will have our little one. Its scary to think how life changing it will be, but I had to have one before by 30. You know when its time. One day we both just looked at each other and said it feels right to start a family now. Enjoy your life!
