I'm doing my part.
Kristin would be so proud! Meet the newest member of the board for my homeowners association....me! A spot opened up a few months ago and no one ran for it. I decided that since I attend all of the meetings anyway that I should be involved in the decisions too. I submitted my application and was approved at last week's meeting. I took part in my first board decision today. It was pretty exciting (ok, that might be a lie). Hopefully I won't regret my decision.

Everyone has an obligation to some kind of public service several times during their lifetime. I am glad to see you are taking the first turn. I am proud of you.
