The next day was another chill day, although I can't imagine how any day in Kauai isn't chill. Spent the morning swimming in the ocean while Skyler surfed. After a few hours, Skyler decided it was my turn to surf. I haven't surfed in the ocean since we were in Costa Rica a few years ago (although I've spent plenty of time surfing behind a boat). We found a beach with some Elise-sized waves and I enjoyed remembering how to surf. Skyler spent some time in the water with me and some time on the beach watching me. The beaches at Poipu have rocky and coral bottoms. Kinda annoying because you can't really stand up in the water without killing your feet.

If you were on the south shore you could have gone to Lemon Drops its a sandy bottom and perfect for beginners. No shots of you riding a wave?
None of the pictures turned out great.
my sister and her hubby are there right now. that is the stinky thing there, lots of coral...but still gorgeous!
