I'm Carrying an Alien

The other day Skyler was trying to recall all movies that have an alien popping out of someone's stomach. Just lovely. But I see his point. How creepy is this face looking at you?

I had another ultrasound last week and he's look good. Every time I've had an ultrasound he's been moving around a ton. A sign of what's to come?! He is also measuring a little bigger than expected. They haven't officially moved up my due date yet, but he was about 7-9 days further along.

Baby boy is responding well to music. The other night I was sitting next to Skyler as he played the guitar and baby boy was kicking up a strom. He also has good taste in music too. Yesterday he started kicking like crazy when the Beastie Boys "Girls" came on the radio.

As for me, I've outgrown all of my clothes. And I'm not just talking about not zipping up my jeans. I can't even put my jeans on. I've fully graduated to maternity pants. And I don't even care, they are so comfortable. The only problem is I have no clothes now. When will it be acceptable to wear sweatpants all day long? Anyone want to give me some Lululemon gifts cards?

I'm slowly losing my mobility. I'm already to the point where I despise picking up things off the floor. I'm just barely past the half-way mark (22 weeks)! My favorite activity to do is swimming. It is the only thing I can do where I don't feel hindered by my growing baby bump. Although, I can't flip-turn anymore because it hurts to bend so much at the waist. I'm still actively running and biking too. Skyler had to adjust my bike so I can sit more upright. I'm getting a little sick of only riding on the river trail. Gotta be safe though.

Here's a cuter picture of my little guy. I can't get enough of his cute nose, courtesy of Skyler.

so stinkin cute!!! i love his little baby nose!
i love that we are at the same place in our pregnancy. i have nothing to wear everyday too and i keep buying maternity clothes. i feel bad buying so many clothes. let's go to h & m together. i really need bottoms that FIT. even my leggings are too tight on my waist :( and i HATE trying to pick something up from the ground. especially when sitting. i feel like i waddle everywhere and i am finally getting used to letting the bump squish against the counter when i do the dishes. fun right? :)

Ahh, the alien photos. I think I worried for weeks that Diego really would have a face similar to the ultrasound shot. And with Rose I was sure I could count 6 fingers on one hand. Thank goodness it is not so!
I want to see you soon. I can't even remember how big you were last time but you make it seem like you've grown. And I have some pants Lori gave me that are capris and comfy if you want to borrow anything.
