One of the many things I love about Skyler is that he encourages me to try new things. I can't even begin to count how many new food items I've found (and now love) due to trying something new.
Last week my brother Cameron, who is serving a mission in the Czech Republic, suggested I find Halushki mix. Of course I had no idea what it was, so I searched and found a recipe from Guy Fieri for "Holy Haluski." Iti didn't look too hard, so I decided to give it a try.
Turns out, it is pretty good. I was surprised that both Skyler and I went back for seconds. So there you go, I tried something new, cooked it myself, and it was good. Go figure.
Here's the latest picture from Cam. Looks like there are some beautiful buildings in the Czech Republic.
Last week Cam stumbled across the Grand Prix Cycle Criterium in Hradec Kralove. It's so cool to see bicycle racing in other countries, especially Europe since it's so popular there.
