Almost End of Week 34

"The Texans are not amused."

Last week Skyler was in Texas doing research. He makes me laugh even when he's not around.

Before Chapman 5k race

Pregnancy Gripes:

-My mouth gets so dry all day and night long, so of course the solution is to drink water. Wrong. I also have acid reflux and one of the things that inflames it is drinking water. Dilemma.

-My voice is hoarse. It's been that way for the past couple of weeks and is not due to being sick. I researched it a bit and could be because of hormones, position of baby pushing on something, or underactivity of thyroid gland.

-Loss of love of food. I used to LOVE food. Now that feeling is gone. I'm getting slightly nauseous when it comes to eating and I'm avoiding it because of my acid reflux.

-Realizing I'm going to be 9 months pregnant on my 30th birthday. Just what I've always dreamed my last days of being in my 20's would be like.

Pregnany Loves:

-Having an excuse to not work out. If I don't do anything but sit on the couch when I get home, I don't even care.

-Skyler tells me I'm beautiful way more often. I'm pretty sure he's just making me feel better, but I love it.

-Feeling Baby Wallace move all the time. I'm supposed to be keeping a kick count card to make sure he's moving enough, but I don't need to because he's active all day long.

-Baby Wallace seems to respond to touch. He seems to start moving when you touch my stomach. I love it when he responds to Pumpkin or Skyler laying next to me. It's like he's trying to communicate with them.

Only 4-8 weeks left. Wondering if he's going to be a Thanksgiving or Christmas baby. We seem to have most of the stuff we need to keep a baby alive, warm, and healthy. It's been fun setting up his room, but we're starting to realize that he needs so much stuff. The good news is that I got my jogging stroller/bike trailer! That's what I really wanted because it's kinda a present for me too. This little guy is going to see a lot of the world as we RUN together. This stroller is so awesome that you can even use it to hike and cross-country ski.

Did you get a chariot one or two? Good job making that purchase because it will be your best investment in your future workouts! Also a word of advice. Get back to your running routine as soon as they say to but be extremely careful when going back to a core workout. I started too early with my first and couldn't walk for a month!

It's true. You are one of the pretty pregnant ones.

Have you tried Pepcid for your heart burn? It saved me.

elise... you may be the cutest prego lady I have ever seen! And it's so funny what you said about people saying weird stuff about your name ideas... i never really thought about it, but that kind of thing happens all the time. Like do people just not have filters? haha.
