My Worst Fear

I have always been scared of earthquakes. I vividly remember one night when I was a kid my dad was reassured me that there wouldn't be any earthquakes for a long time. That night we had a huge earthquake. I ended up sleeping on the floor in my parent's room for the next few nights. As I have gotten older, my fear of earthquakes has subsided a little bit. A few years ago I woke up during an earthquake, but was too tired to get out of bed to move under a doorway.

Today I was jolted into remembering why I have a fear of earthquakes....they are scary! And it doesn't help that I was in the epicenter.

I almost cried because I had left Diego upstairs on the floor and went downstairs for a second. I think I got upstairs in about .75 of a second and threw myself on top of him and then into the doorway. SCARY! Later I realized that Cam's piggy bank had fallen on the floor next to where Diego's head was. Thankfully we are all unscathed-well except Cam who received brutal wounds from the cat he was holding at the time!

Elise, pack your bags and move to Arizona!! It maybe hotter than heck here, but as far as I know, we don't have earthquakes. Besides when CA falls off, AZ will be beach front property.
