Post-Christmas

Although we planned on heading up to Mammoth on Christmas Day, it just didn't happen. We didn't mind though because we drove to Utah the next week to enjoy family and snowboarding.

First, we stayed a night at Skyler's dad's new place in St. George. Nice is an understatement of how it looked! It also serves as a great place to stay for triathlons, mountain biking, and drives to Salt Lake.

Unfortunately, I didn't take a ton of photos while we were in Utah, but that doesn't mean that we didn't have a great time. We got to see family on both of our sides and we got to visit with a lot of friends. And let's not forget snowboarding...we did lots of that too!

The first day we snowboarded in Brighton.

Second day in Park City. I had not snowboarded at Park City before, and it easily became my favorite resort in Utah! Mike Alleman and my brother Cameron drove up from Provo to join us for the day. It was my first time riding with my brother.

Our friends Jeff and Kelly just happened to be in Utah at the same time we were. They joined us for some snowboarding.

Loved the view from the top.

Brother and Sister time.

Our last day was at Snowbird. Skyler loves Snowbird. Me, not so much, but I still had a great time hanging out with Kelly, my uncle, and my cousins.

The rest of our trip consisted of Skyler working (boo!), going to the gym, visiting the Salt Lake Temple for the first time, eating yummy food, running 18 miles with Kelly (pure torture), seeing more friends, and eating cupcakes. As much as we didn't want to leave this winter wonderland, real life was calling us back to California. Sadly, we drove home and returned to a fairly warm California.
